Professor Michael Childers was recently selected for the prestigious Faculty in Residence position with the University of Wisconsin in Florence program. This program, offered by the UW–Madison International Academic Program, focuses on European and Italian studies from a multi-disciplinary perspective. Michael will serve in this role during the 2026 spring semester, where he will teach two 3-credit courses, act as a liaison between the Madison and Florence programs, and support UW-Madison students at the Florence campus.
