In concordance with the UW–Madison campus decision and to best support our community, School for Workers faculty and staff are participating in social distancing. We are still available to you remotely and are actively continuing our mission with online sessions. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us during this time. Registration can be completed online using the form below or by calling School for Workers at 608-262-2112.  For online sessions, registration is required 24 hours in advance. For in-person classes, registration is required two weeks prior to the first class day. You will receive a confirmation e-mail after registering with details on attending your class.

For online sessions payment is due 24 hours prior to the class and is available online only at charge.wisc.edu/schoolforworkers.

For in-person classes payment is due 14 days before the class start date. Registration payment includes tuition, instructional materials, lunches, and breaks unless otherwise noted in the program description. Do not include lodging fees in your payments to School for Workers; lodging reservations are made between the individual and the Lowell Center. (See more information about lodging.) Credit card payments can be made online at charge.wisc.edu/schoolforworkers or over the phone at 608-262-2112. Check payments can be mailed to School for Workers at 610 Langdon Street, Room 229 / Madison, WI 53703. Please make checks payable to UW-Madison.

For online sessions to receive a full refund, cancellation notification must be 48 hours in advance or more prior to the program start date. If notification is less than 48 hours prior, the cancellation fee will be, at a minimum one-third of the registration fee. School for Workers reserves the right to cancel programs when enrollment criteria are not met or when conditions beyond our control intervene. If the School cancels a class, class fees are refunded in full.

For in-person classes to receive a full refund, cancellation notification must be 14 days or more prior to the program start date. If notification is less than 14 days prior, the cancellation fee will be, at a minimum, $100. School for Workers reserves the right to cancel programs when enrollment criteria are not met or when conditions beyond our control intervene. If the School cancels a class, class fees are refunded in full, but additional costs incurred are the responsibility of the registrants.
