Gov. Evers Pushes Back on ICE Arrests

Governor Evers is expressing concern about immigration enforcement targeting farm workers. This comes as ICE arrests increase throughout the Midwest, with state officials monitoring activity in the state.  A University of Wisconsin-Madison School for Workers survey found about 70-percent of labor on state dairy farms is performed by undocumented workers.  Evers says the state’s economy would suffer significant damage if undocumented workers were forced to leave the state.
