School for Workers Professor Armando Ibarra is a panelist for this dynamic, timely conversation on the external pressures facing public institutions such as UW-Madison. Panelists will offer thoughts on what academic freedom is (and what it isn’t); take a historical lens to show how the current pressures fit within a longer arc; and share on-the-ground perspectives about what these pressures look like within departments and among students. This event is hosted by the UW-Madison Center for the Humanities.
