December 6, 2025 • 10:00 am to 2:00 pm | Madison Labor Temple, Room 109
School for Workers is pleased to offer Advanced Steward Training: Assertive Problem Solving, a focused workshop designed to help stewards strengthen their approach to workplace issues and grievances.
Effective grievance handling is not only about preparing a strong argument. It also relies on organizing members, building collective support, and understanding how to apply strategic pressure. This workshop will explore how to use your grievance process, or whatever system you have in place, to identify pressure points, engage rank-and-file members, and move issues forward with confidence.
Participants will learn practical tools that can strengthen their problem-solving approach, expand involvement within their workplace, and improve outcomes at the table.
This training is sponsored by the South Central Federation of Labor.
The cost is $50, and lunch is provided.
Register today to secure your spot and continue growing your skills as an effective steward.
