A live stream interview series

Voces de la Frontera is a membership-based community organization led by low-wage workers, immigrants and youth whose mission is to protect and expand civil rights and workers’ rights through leadership development, community organizing and empowerment. Professor Armando Ibarra will speak to staff organizers about the Driver Licenses For All campaign, advocating to allow all immigrants to obtain driver licenses to positively benefit everyone in Wisconsin, and the Deferred Action for Labor Enforcement, a new rule protecting noncitizen workers from threats of immigration-related retaliation from the exploitive employers.

Join us on the third Wednesday of every month at noon (CT) for the Labor Forward forum. At the forum, School for Workers faculty interview advocates of the labor/worker movement to highlight their important work, celebrate their progress, and learn from their unique experiences. The forum is free and pre-registration is required to receive the webinar link.
