In August 2023, the School for Workers partnered with Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services to undertake two different but interrelated interventions; first to develop and conduct a bilingual Workers’ Compensation Training across the state and second to facilitate listening sessions on workplace health and safety with marginalized workers across the state. School for Workers Assistant Professor Lola Loustaunau and guest Kate McCoy, Wisconsin DHS, will discuss the interventions and results.

Join us on the third Wednesday of every month at noon (CT) for the Labor Forward forum. At the forum, School for Workers faculty interview advocates of the labor/worker movement to highlight their important work, celebrate their progress, and learn from their unique experiences. The forum is free and pre-registration is required to receive the webinar link.
