A Tribute to the Past. A Toast to the Future.
In celebration of the School for Workers’ 100th anniversary, we invite you to a special evening of food, community, and solidarity.
Join us for a celebratory dinner honoring a century of labor education and worker empowerment at the University of Wisconsin. The evening will include a social hour with cash bar, buffet dinner, and remarks from individuals who have helped shape and been shaped by the School for Workers’ legacy.
We’re honored to welcome two tremendous guest speakers: Jesús Salas, lifelong advocate for farmworker justice and celebrated changemaker, and Sara Nelson, International President of the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, AFL-CIO, widely recognized as “America’s most powerful flight attendant.”
To mark the occasion, the Art Build Workers will be onsite recreating a large-scale version of the commemorative artwork they designed for our 100th anniversary. Known for their work at the intersection of art and activism, the Art Build Workers help amplify movements, build solidarity, and create spaces where communities come together in strength and creativity.
