Wisconsin Nurses Building Power

SEIU Wisconsin Nurses

Oct 21, 2026 @ 12:00 p.m. (CT)

Join us for Labor Forward, a monthly forum spotlighting leaders and advocates shaping today’s labor movement. In this session, Professor Don Taylor will meet with SEIU Wisconsin nurses from SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital and SSM Health/Dean Clinics, both of which recently won union representation elections. Nurses organized around concerns including staffing, retention, workplace decision-making, and patient care. Together, they will discuss their organizing campaigns, the challenges they continue to face as newly unionized workers, and their efforts to build a stronger voice for nurses while improving care for patients and communities.

The forum is free, but pre-registration is required to receive the webinar link.
