The NLRB’s Recent Rule Making to Change Policy

About

This online class is part of a webinar series. In this session, we will focus exclusively on the NLRB’s changes to policy through rule making. This will include a look at the 2019 rule changing election procedures, as well as an examination of other recent NLRB rules that altered the Board’s joint employer standard, treatment of graduate students, and access to employer property.

About The NLRB and the Changing Law Webinar Series

In this three-part series, we will review the structure of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA). The Board’s interpretation of the Act typically changes through proceedings brought before the Board and more recently through federal rule making. Learn more about the Board’s recent rule making on the election process and joint employer rule, and examine the recent NLRB rulings that change the interpretation of the Act.
