About
Effectively resolving disputes—including utilizing the contractual grievance and arbitration process—is vital for union representatives, stewards, and members. In this class, participants will examine the tools and skills needed to investigate and resolve grievances in different steps of the grievance procedure, culminating with a mock arbitration before an arbitrator. We will examine the just cause, tools to interpret collective bargaining agreements, and develop the skills to take a grievance through arbitration.
