Mon, Feb 1 – Sun, Feb 21 | Self-paced, three-week institute
Tuition: $185 | Register by: Wed, Jan 27
In March 2020, as the country began to respond to the COVID-19 crisis, Congress passed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). The FFCRA expands the Family Medical Leave Act and provides paid sick leave to workers affected by the pandemic fallout. This institute will guide participants through the updated and new federal regulations and clarify workers’ paid leave options, including aid for necessary quarantine or illness linked to COVID-19.
This is a three-week, self-paced online institute utilizing class materials, short videos, activities and student discussion boards in one-week modules. Participants can access the course whenever it fits their schedule and do not have to be online at any specific time. All registrants will receive support prior to the class start date addressing online learning best practices and how to easily navigate their online institute. Additionally, School for Workers faculty and staff will be available throughout your institute to help ensure your success!
